Hi, I'm Jannah

Founder, Creator, full-time working mum
and most importantly, mum to an amazing little boy

Like many parents, life often feels busy. Between work, household responsibilities, endless to-do lists, and trying to be everything to everyone, I found myself constantly moving from one task to the next.

One thing I started doing with my son was setting aside a dedicated 45 minutes — no distractions, no rushing, no multitasking. Just him leading the play, and me being fully present with him.

What surprised me most wasn't just how engaged he was. It was how engaged I was too.

What data we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email, delivery address, and payment information. Payment is processed securely by Stripe and never stored on our systems.

How we use your data
To process orders, send confirmations and shipping updates, and — if opted in — occasional product emails. We do not sell your data.

Products
All kits are handmade to order using natural materials including rice, chickpeas, pasta, and other grains, coloured with non-toxic food colouring or AP acrylic paints. Not intended for consumption. Suitable for ages 18 months and over. Always supervise children during play.

Pricing and payment
All prices are in GBP. Payment is taken securely via Stripe at the time of order.

Shipping
We aim to dispatch within 3–5 working days. UK standard delivery £1.99. Free shipping on orders over £35.

Returns and refunds
Due to the handmade and perishable nature of our products we cannot accept general returns. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours at hello@houseoflykkeplay.com with a photo. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Allergens
Made in a home environment that may contain gluten, nuts, and other allergens. Please contact us before ordering if your child has known allergies.

Processing time
All kits are handmade to order. Please allow 3–5 working days for preparation and dispatch.

UK delivery
Standard: £1.99 (Royal Mail 2nd Class, 2–4 working days after dispatch). Free on orders over £35.

International shipping
Currently UK only. International shipping coming soon.

Tracking
You will receive an email when your order is dispatched. Contact us if you require a tracked service.
